Support Steve's Battle Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Since August, our 41 year old brother Steve has been dealing with balance issues, a lack of mobility on his right side, headaches, and slurred speech. After multiple tests and a biopsy, we received devistating and unexpected news of a brain tumor on his brainstem. He has a grade 2 - 3 glioma; an astrocytoma (with no IDH, which makes it more difficult to treat and likely that it can spread throughout his brain). We are told it's a tough cancer, in a dangerous part of the brain which makes it inoperable. His only option is to begin a series of 30 radiation treatments over 6 weeks, with possible chemo treatments as well. My brother is unable to work and as we know, healthcare for so many isn't great, and can leave us with steep medical bills; unfortunately this is the case for my brother. We ask you to please consider a donation because every little bit helps. My brother is worried about the bills he has already received, not to mention the mounting costs as he heads into treatment. Studies have shown that a positive attitude is key, and our hope and goal of this Go Fund Me is to help alleviate his worry of medical bills, so he can focus on healing. We hope and pray he can get back to the things he loves...golfing and fishing. We thank you for your generosity and ask you to share this if you want to. Every donation, no matter the size will bring hope and relief. If you do not choose to donate, we ask you to please keep him in your prayers. Thank you in advance from Steve and the entire family
