Support Steve’s ALS Journey
Donation protected
Our beloved dad — a devoted husband, proud father, and new cherished grandfather — was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) this past winter, and the impact has been swift and heartbreaking. This devastating disease is progressing quickly, and we’ve recently learned his prognosis may be as little as 6-8 months.
Our dad has always been the one who shows up — for sporting events, birthdays, backyard projects, and every little moment in between. Watching someone so full of life lose their strength and independence day by day has been devastating.
Our mom is the most selfless person we know. She would never ask for help, even though she has every reason to. After fighting and beating her third type of cancer just last year, she is now caring for our dad — all while working full-time as a nurse and navigating the emotional and financial toll this disease has brought into their lives.
This fundraiser will help ease some of that burden. The money raised will go toward:
• Medical expenses not covered by insurance
• Daily care needs and home modifications
• A handicap-accessible vehicle so he can attend appointments and, most importantly, still get out to enjoy the world with the time he has left
We want to make sure our dad spends his remaining time surrounded by comfort, dignity, and the love of family — not worrying about how to make it all work financially. If you’re able to give, we are deeply grateful. If you’re not, a share or a kind word means more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
