Support Steven's Recovery from Life-Threatening Surgery
Donation protected
Hi. We're trying to raise funds to help Steven with his medical expenses. Steve's had a bad lingering cough for months. On Friday, he was admitted to Mountain Vista Medical Center and had surgery on Saturday for a saddle bilateral embolism (which is a life-threatening condition where large blood clots obstruct blood flow to both lungs), which resulted in an enlarged right side heart and enlarged veins around the heart. He's currently recovering and will hopefully be discharged midweek. This message was relayed from his wife, Joanne.
If you know Steve's involvement in the R.C. hobby, you know there's never been a better ambassador for the hobby than Steve. The countless people he's helped in the shop, at the field, or even via text/phone. He's always willing to help any of us in need and turned a group of customers into an R.C. family.
So, we're asking, pleading, if you can, please help us with this GoFundMe to help offset any medical expenses for Steve. The goal is to cover his medical insurance deductible. We're also setting this GoFundMe so that funds will go directly to Steve or Joanne. Thank you!!!!
