Support Steven's long road to recovery
Donation protected
My nephews were riding home Sunday July 6 when a SUV crossed the double lines and hit Steven. He was thrown in the air and skidded across the road . His left leg took the initial impact . His leg was wide open and crushed. Part of his femur was broken off , his knee cap is gone and his tibia and fibula are broken. He had his first surgery as soon as he arrived at the hospital. We didn't know if he was going to be able to keep his leg or not. Thankfully 3 surgeons were able to save his leg and make a game plan. The first worry was blood flow, infection and skin retention. He is nowhere near out of the woods . He will have to have multiple surgeries over the next several months to a year to hopefully rebuild his leg along with months of therapy to learn how to walk again. So i started this to help pay his bills while he wont be able to work for quite a while. We are thankful that he is alive and is continuing to fight to get better despite the long road ahead . Anything you can donate is appreciated.
