Support Steven's Journey to Umass Dartmouth

My name is Steven Thomas and in September, I will be planning to move into campus for my freshman year in college at Umass Dartmouth for communications. Until as of two days ago, I got an alerting email about my bill. The email entailed that by August 1st, I have to pay $5,000 for my fall semester. I didn't get any warning emails and they didn't explain how billing was going to be done. At this current rate, I don't think I can afford it, as I've already missed a chunk of my summer job due to having Appendicitis and getting Emergency surgery done on me and having to recover, which was very difficult for me and led to me losing nearly 40 pounds two weeks after surgery from an eating disorder.

The first thing I thought about was loans or a payment plan, but my mom can't take out any loans due to loans she has taken out for an older sibling. My mother still has to worry for my baby sister and my brother whose college bills are way higher than mine. I also have no credit to take out a loan and I don't think my mom is eligible for cosign. So then I moved onto the monthly plan idea, and I've just started work and don't know if I can cover the first month. So, I'm just trying anything to make this happen for me.

I really want to attend this college for communications, as I've spent my four years in high school learning media and filmmaking. Starting from scriptwriting to directing my own short film and presenting it. I have also been nominated for a New England Emmy for my editing skills. This is really important to me so any dollar helps, reaching the $10,000 goal is not needed but would almost cover my whole year which would be great.
