Support Steven's Journey to Recovery

Hey Family and Friends.

This is Steven B Adams your brother, your cousin, your nephew, your friend and your acquaintance since December 2023 I have been on a journey to recover from a severe stroke. However after a disasterous month long stay in a rehab where I picked up several infections I am now in the hospital. And after 5 months after additional medical setbacks I now must begin a new journey in rehab in the DC, MD, and VA area, near my sister, Stephanie. This will alleviate the stress she's been living under for a year and half living in 2 states and still give me she's always given me since this all began. This rehab will be different because I will need to not only to begin my recovery therapy from the stroke (right side paralysis and speech aphasia) but now I must learn to walk again after receiving ANOTHER above the knee amputation (left left). I will need more surgeries. All of this means new hospitals, new clinics, new doctors, new wheelchairs, and new protesthics which with insurance still requires some patient costs. Costs I have not been able to cover completely I'm a Realtor. Costs I can no longer ask my sister, Stephanie, to shoulder alone. I know some assistance has been given but I am asking you to give what they can to assist with this medical journey to healing and wellness. I pray every day and I know you all have prayed for me and those prayers have been received because I am STILL here. I am STILL fighting. And I STILL have a lot of life to LIVE!!
