Support Steven's Healing Journey and Recovery
Donation protected
On September 17th, our brother, Steven, and another employee with Timberworks were severely injured in Dunsmuir after a scissor lift they were in fell over ejecting them down a hillside. Steven has an extensive list of injuries to include pelvic fractures, facial/skull fractures, a brain bleed, rib fractures, a sternum fracture, and a spinal fracture.
Steven was transferred to a hospital in another county where he will receive a higher level of trauma care. He has already undergone one successful surgery and has another surgery scheduled in the near future. He has a long recovery ahead.
This accident will cause him to potentially miss months of work. Any money donated will be greatly appreciated. It will help alleviate financial stress on his family while he focuses on recovering.
Steven has lived in Siskiyou County for most of his life. He is active in the community and a volunteer coach with the Junior Giants.
We would like to thank all the first responders who took care of Steven and his coworker immediately after the accident. Also a big thank you to the ER staff at Mercy Mt. Shasta for providing excellent care.
Thank you,
