As many of you know I'm in the process of attaining guardianship of Steven. This is the last step needed for him to access the services in Arizona that he desperately needs. We have court on April 16th and I'm hoping and praying that guardianship is granted and we can move past this final hurdle. In the meantime things have been so hard. We are living off Stevens disability social security and the small amount I am able to earn caring for him.

We recently committed to staying in this home for another year, but we are losing a household member which increases the amount of rent I need to pay. Things are really really hard and financially I have been short money every month since we moved here. No, it wasn't supposed to be this way, but it is what it is at this point.

I am setting this up for people who care about us to help if they can. If guardianship is not granted on the 16th then things are going to stay hard for longer. It's taking a toll on me and my brother who has been financially making up for my slack.

At this point it would be so helpful if I was able to raise a couple grand to cover costs until guardianship goes through. I'm sure you have all seen how expensive it is to live right now. Our rent is 1500 a month. And we are moving into the summer where the electric bill will hit 800 a month for a few months.

I do not want to guilt people, but I am reaching out to my community with this struggle in hope that there are some people who are able and willing to help fill this gap.
