Our dear friend, Miche Bernier, passed away unexpectedly after just two months of chemo treatments to fight his lung cancer.

We are reaching out to our Fred Astaire community to support his lifelong partner, Steven Powell, to cover his funeral expenses. Please help us to reach this goal!

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life and a legacy of laughter and love on November 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m., and afterwards Miche’s loved ones will be invited to share their stories and memories. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington.
