Support Steven Jasso and His Family During Their Fight Against Cancer

My name is Robert Stockton, and I’ve had the honor of knowing Steven Jasso and Dominique Carrillo for the past 4 ½ years. Over that time, I’ve not only had the privilege of working alongside them but also witnessing their unwavering dedication to their family, their colleagues, and their community. Steven and Dominique exemplify what it means to serve with integrity and heart, both as parents and as dedicated members of the Albuquerque Police Department (APD). They are the kind of people who never hesitate to step up for others, and now it’s our turn to step up for them.

Steven has always been passionate about serving others. As a recent graduate of APD Class 129, he was just one step away from achieving his dream of becoming a solo beat officer, protecting and serving the community he loves. However, life took an unexpected turn just one day before starting his final phase of on-the-job training (OJT).

In November, Steven began feeling unwell and sought care at an urgent care clinic. From there, he was sent to the emergency room, where a series of tests revealed devastating news: Steven was diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Steven is not just a dedicated police officer—he’s also a loving husband to Dominique and a devoted father to their three wonderful children. Dominique works for APD and has been a steadfast supporter of her husband and their family throughout this difficult journey. Together, they have dedicated their lives to serving and supporting others. Now, it’s our turn to step up and support them.

This diagnosis has not only disrupted Steven’s career but has also placed a significant emotional and financial burden on their family. Steven and Dominique are not the type to ask for help, but during this challenging time, we have an opportunity to bless them and show our support.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go directly to Steven and Dominique to help with unexpected medical expenses, everyday living costs, and any other needs that arise as Steven battles cancer.
