Support Steven Horowitz's Road to Recovery

We are “GEOPRAYER”. We are lifetime friends of Steven Horowitz.

It is with a very heavy heart that we ask for your love, prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time.

Steven, a beloved member of our community, loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend, suffered a massive heart attack and cardiac arrest.

He is currently fighting for his life in a medically induced coma at UCLA Ronald Reagan Westwood Hospital, where doctors are working to reduce swelling in his brain. Every step is just moment by moment .

It's nothing short of a miracle that Steven is still with us.

On Sunday, December 1st, 2025, Steven's Life Partner, Robin heard a loud scream coming from their bedroom. When she ran back to check, she found Steven unresponsive with purple lips. Without hesitation, Robin performed CPR and called 911.

Thanks to her quick actions, paramedics were able to regain a pulse, and Steven rushed to the hospital. His prognosis remains uncertain, and his condition is still very touch-and-go as he continues to fight for his life.

Steven’s recovery will be very long and challenging. Doctors are cautiously optimistic, but the path ahead is uncertain. He is unlikely to be able to work for quite some time, and his medical bills, especially for the extensive rehabilitation he will need—will be enormous.

Steven has always been an independent contractor in the field of Customs Brokerage.

Unfortunately, he was in between insurance providers at the time of the incident and is currently uninsured. What this means is his hospital bills will be astronomical, and he will need substantial financial support to cover his medical and rehabilitation costs.

Steven has always been the first to offer help to others and put himself last.

Over the years, he has selflessly supported countless people, helping them recover from addiction, find hope, and avoid homelessness.

We are asking for any financial contribution you can make to lessen the burden on his medical bills and give him a fighting chance of a full recovery. Your generosity will help support Steven as well as Robin who is now handling everything from being a rock and support system to Steven, being there day and night, asking questions, making sure that every nurse and every doctor knows who Steven is...by showing them pictures of him so they know he is someone who is beloved and cared for and who makes a difference, playing music like Metallica and Sade and everything in between so Steven can hear, spending sleepless nights by his side, making sure he is safe and comfortable, and who’s complete and total focus is Steven.

We ask for love, prayers and financial support.

We need Steven to come back to us and to return to all the hopes, plans and dreams that he and Robin have for their future together.

We are deeply grateful for the love and powerful prayers that so many of you have already sent Steven’s way. Your support means the world to him and to us.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank the brave and competent paramedics and very special doctors and nurses who have worked tirelessly to save Steven’s life. Their efforts have been nothing short of heroic.
