Please help support our Dad while he battles Bladder Cancer

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our beloved dad, Steven Gore, who is currently facing an incredibly challenging battle with advanced bladder cancer. As a family, we have always been inspired by his strength, kindness, and unwavering spirit, but now he needs our help more than ever.

Steven Gore has always been the rock of our family. He is a devoted father, grandfather, and friend who has dedicated his life to caring for others. He is also a United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country with pride. Whether it was mentoring students when he taught at Central Piedmont Community College or volunteering in the community, or simply being there with a listening ear, he has always put others first. Now, it's our turn to give back to him.

In May 2024, our world was turned upside down when Dad was diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer. Despite undergoing various treatments, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy , the cancer has continued to spread. His journey has been filled with doctor visits, medical bills, and the emotional toll that comes along with this horrible disease. The money raised would help my Dad be able to take the burden off of paying for numerous out of pocket expenses from Doctors visits to two upcoming surgeries in December.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are faced with the financial challenges that accompany his treatment. The costs of medications, therapies, and additional treatments, along with the loss of income as he is unable to work, are overwhelming. We want to ensure that he can focus on his health and spending precious time with family, without the added stress of financial worry.

We have created this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering medical expenses, treatments, and providing for his everyday needs during this difficult time. Additionally, your support will help alleviate some of the financial burden on our family so we can focus on what truly matters—being there for Dad.
