Support Steven Gonzales' Battle with Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to share the story of our beloved Steven Gonzales, who is bravely battling terminal glioblastoma. Steve is a devoted husband to Ada Christensen and a loving father to two beautiful children, Iker, age 1, and Rook, age 6.
Before this illness, Steve was a dedicated staff member for the Aspen School District, driving students to and from school, sporting events, and excursions. Steve would always greet students with his wonderful smile and energy, asking them how their day was going and bringing a moment of brightness to these everyday interactions. His students will dearly miss him.
After a long day of work, Steve always looked forward to coming home to his amazing wife, two energetic and rambunctious boys, and Beatrix, their loyal dog companion. Typical evenings and weekends are spent having delicious meals, building the best couch pillow forts, a chaotic game of Nerf blasters, or a peaceful walk around the park.
As Steve fights this devastating illness, the financial burden of medical costs, memorial expenses, and basic needs for his family has become overwhelming. Ada is doing everything she can to provide caretaking to her husband while also caring for their young children, but they need our help.
We ask for your generosity and support to help ease the financial strain on this family we love so much during such a challenging time. Your donations will go directly towards covering medical bills, end-of-life costs, and meeting the basic needs for Steve, Ada, and the children.
No matter the size, every contribution will make a significant difference and comfort this family. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your network. Together, we can help the family navigate this difficult journey with less worry and much more love.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
