Hello, wonderful donors!

I am reaching out to the community to ask for assistance for my brother and sister-in-law. Like so many, Steven and Ren's lives were devastated by the recent hurricane that swept the Tampa area. The storm ripped their deck off the back of the house, leaving a massive hole in the wall and ceiling and destroying half of their home. Their landlord will not let them stay during repairs, and they do not have many options with the damage to the surrounding area. Our family is several states away, so we cannot help them directly. This fundraiser is our way of assisting Steven and Ren despite our distance. I'm sure you see many pages that begin with the phrase, "Normally, I would never think to ask strangers for money," which is precisely what Steven and Ren would say. That is why I am reaching out to all of you, as an older sister, asking for help for my siblings.

Steven and Ren are Psychology majors; Ren works as a Family Recovery Specialist, and Steven supports Veterans who are homeless and on welfare. These young people dedicate every day of their lives to helping their community.

I know many of us are affected by the recent hurricanes, but please find it in your heart to help my siblings as they support others during their difficult time. The money you donate will go toward helping them meet their daily needs and find a new home so they may recover their lives and continue to support the lives of others.
