I am reaching out on behalf of an incredible man, Steve Williams, and his devoted family as they face a heartbreaking and life-altering challenge.

In September 2024, Steve, husband to my sister Kathy and proud dad to Samantha (18) and Kristina (13) was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer. Since then, their world has been turned upside down.

Steve has already endured two brain surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, physical therapy and ongoing treatment with the Novocure Optune Gio. With every treatment came devastating side effects and setbacks. Despite the intense physical and emotional toll, Steve continues to fight with strength and determination.

This diagnosis has impacted every part of their lives. Being the main source of income, Steve’s inability to work after each surgery, during difficult treatments, and during a stay in a rehabilitation center, has set them back financially to a place from which they have been unable to recover. Kathy has had to take time off from work to be his full-time caregiver while also supporting their daughters through this incredibly difficult time. With mounting medical bills, long periods of reduced income, and travel for treatments and appointments for the past year, the emotional and financial strain is overwhelming.

Many friends and family members have asked how they can help. The most supportive thing we can do right now is raise funds to ease their financial burden. Your donation will go toward medical expenses, household expenses like utilities and groceries, and support for Samantha and Kristina, during this difficult chapter. This will give the family space to focus on what matters most: Steve’s care and spending precious time together.
