Earlier this year, our Aunt Val was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Since then, she has already undergone a double mastectomy and began chemotherapy the week before Thanksgiving. Her treatment plan includes ongoing chemotherapy for the next year, and due to the risk of exposure, her doctors have advised that she not work during this time.

Her husband and son (our uncle and cousin) have been doing everything they can to support her, but with additional medical challenges affecting the family, this season has been especially overwhelming—emotionally, physically, and financially.

They have no family in close proximity, and although Aunt Val is fortunate to have a wonderful community of friends nearby who are helping with meals, cleaning, and daily needs, the reality is that the journey ahead is long, and the family could use all the support they can get.

Any funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, medications, and transportation to and from appointments, helping to ease some of the financial stress so they can focus on what matters most—healing and being together.
