We all know the beautiful voice and loving heart of our dear friend, Steve Thoreson, MSHS Class of 88! Steve is in need of our support due to some unfortunate turn of events.

Recently, Steve moved to Sweden to return to his incredible singing career, with performances scheduled and plans established. However, soon after arriving to Sweden to seek his housing situation and get his visa, he found that a previously stubbed toe had become internally infected to the point that he had to visit an ER and have the toe amputated. He is now working through the healing process and learning to manage severe phantom pain from a missing appendage.

Steve has found himself in an unintended financial situation where he is accruing medical bills without income. He believes his bills will amass $25,000, so I am asking us to raise $30,000 to help with financial needs as he re-establishes his health and mobility.

Over the last 6 months Steve has taken great care to improve his health, he has nearly eliminated diabetes from his body and has lost significant weight. This setback is an unfortunate pause on what he had planned, but he trusts the greater plan of our Lord and Savior and knows Jesus has a better plan for him, one we cannot see, but follow and obey.

With our help, we can get Steve's medical bills paid and hopefully hear him back on stage and singing the beautiful songs he has shared with us all of his life. Thank you so much for your loving support and prayers!
