Hi, my name is Walter Kilcourse, and I’ve had the privilege of working alongside my dear friend and coworker, Steve Skahen, for over 35 years.

Recently, Steve received the devastating news that he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Anyone who knows Steve knows he is the definition of loyal, hardworking, and selfless. He’s the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need — and he’s done exactly that for countless friends, coworkers, and neighbors over the years without ever expecting anything in return.

Steve is a proud father of five beautiful children, a loving grandfather, and a devoted husband to his wife, Leanne. His family is his world, and right now, they are facing one of the toughest battles of their lives.

Unfortunately, the costs of treatment, medications, and ongoing medical bills are overwhelming. While Steve has always been the one to lend a helping hand, now it’s our turn to step up for him.
