I'm raising money for Steve Raney. Steve is currently recovering from major heart surgery. Steve is out of the hospital, done with rehab, and is convalescing in a hotel.

Due to a series of financial misfortunes, including a lengthy illness and divorce, Steve is essentially homeless. He has been living out of his truck. He is currently using a small inheritance to pay for his hotel stay, but that money is soon to be gone. At 65, Steve is not looking forward to spending the winter living in his truck.

Steve is a Marine, former City of St. Louis police officer, Missouri State Park Ranger, and security consultant specializing in premise security and loss prevention. His only source of income is Social Security and a small pension from the City of St. Louis. His total monthly income is $1,200.

What Steve really needs is time. Time to heal. Time to find a job. Time to build up reserves so he can afford a place to stay.

We believe that $10,000 should buy Steve about six months to heal, find a job, and a place to live. Anything will help.
