This first responder needs your response.
Steve has served as an EMT for 29 years, some of which as a paramedic, and 13 years as a Volunteer Firefighter. And now he is fighting for himself as he has faced disaster in his own life.
In December 2025, Steve lost his job unexpectedly. Two weeks later, the relationship with a woman he loved ended, also unexpectedly. He started a job two months later making 70% of his previous pay. And recently, he experienced a health emergency that required surgery and hospital stay. And as he lay on the operating table, his car was towed away.
Steve is a faithful servant – to his community, his family, and most importantly to God. He would frequently donate to local animal and homeless shelters. His quick wit and reliability make him a friend who will always be there for you and give you hope and comfort. To his family, he is an amazing son, brother, and cousin. He's most importantly an amazing father to two wonderful foster kids that he adopted, one of which was his kindergarten student.
Steve has a heart of gold, but not the kind of gold that he can use to pay his mounting debt. Your contribution will help him get back on his feet financially so he can face the next chapter in his life.
