Hello all! My dad, Steve Noh has suffered a second stroke and now has a dual-chamber pacemaker along with Alzheimer’s and his dementia, which is now worse due to the stroke and TIA. He can’t return to work, and the family has not only the monthly rent due on the 1st of each month, but a mountain of debt. I know my mom, Kim, is very concerned about finding a way to pay for it, although she may not admit it. Your gift will cover housing, medical bills, and daily essentials, allowing the Noh family to focus on Steve’s recovery instead of worrying about how their bills will be paid.
Their Story
Hello, my name is Jordan Knight and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my parents, Steve Noh and family.
On July 7, 2025, Steve endured his second stroke along with a TIA in less than a year. Surgeons implanted a dual-chamber pacemaker to stabilize his heart. Still, the procedure—and the ongoing effects of two strokes—mean he can no longer do any work for a long time, if ever. The daily nurses who come to help with the PT/OT, as well as wound care. They had always been a two-income family until the first stroke. They have already struggled financially with the first stroke, causing them to return to Florida to allow Steve to get better health care. He had just been offered a part-time job when this new incident happened.
The Noh family is fiercely independent and deeply proud; asking for help does not come easily to them. They would not ask on their own. Yet the numbers are brutal:
Lost wages: Steve may be permanently disabled. This means filing for Social Security, among other things.
Climbing medical costs: Hospital stays, rehab, prescriptions, and specialist visits.
Rent is due every month: They rent, and with a payment due on the 1st of the month, they face the very real threat of not being able to pay it.
Care demands: Kim has been running her bookkeeping practice from Steve’s hospital room. Every time we went to visit, she was working at the hospital on her makeshift desk. Each time an alarm goes off, she jumps to assist. Every missed hour risks losing clients, yet the constant stream of doctor appointments keeps adding stress to their income.
Your donation will be used for:
Immediate Housing Relief – Rent, utilities, and keeping a stable home environment.
Medical & Rehabilitation Expenses – Co-pays, therapy sessions, medication, and follow-up care.
Basic Living Costs – Groceries, transportation to appointments, and other essentials, while both incomes are reduced.
Even the most minor contribution—$10, $25, $50—helps bridge the gap. If you’re unable to give right now, please share this campaign; each share widens the circle of compassion.
The Noh family has always been there to help others. Today, let’s help them. Removing some stress and ensuring they can afford all that they need to stay in their home. Medical expenses, etc. They need to focus on Steven’s fight to regain his health.
With heartfelt thanks,
