My name is Steve, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. After spending 25 years incarcerated in Federal Prison, I was released only to face another heartbreak—the passing of my beloved mother on the very day I came home. The loss has been overwhelming, especially as my parents left no will or life insurance to help with funeral or burial expenses.

I am now trying to honor both my mom and dad, as I lost my father a few years before my mom passed. My goal is to cover the cremation fees and purchase an urn where I can place both of their ashes together, giving them the dignity and peace they deserve. In addition, I am starting over with nothing, and any support will help me with clothing and basic necessities as I work to rebuild my life from the ground up.
