My Dad, Steve Dau, passed away last night, April 20, 2025 (Easter Sunday). We believe it was peacefully in his sleep.

As some may already know, Dad underwent open-heart surgery back in October to improve his health and quality of life, but as many of you do not know, there was still a blockage in his brain. It was a long road to recovery, but he made it and seemed to be doing better day by day.

As some of you may know, I am currently without a job and looking to help my mom with the basic costs of cremation to help ease the blow that this has been to her. All of our relationships weren’t always the best, but we were family to the end and loved each other no matter what. This next chapter of Mom's life is going to be a bumpy one, and she is visibly devastated over the loss of her husband of 34 years.

Thank you for reading, and thank you to the moon and back if you can help me help my best friend, my chaos coordinator, my Mother find her way back to a new normal. She means the absolute world to me, and I would give everything and anything for her. I love you all.
