Support Steve Briggs After Life-Threatening Brain Surgery

Hi, this is Kim, Danny, Adam, and Brian , and we are the family of Steven Briggs.

We never imagined I’d be writing something like this but just a few days ago, our world was turned upside down. Our dad suffered a serious and unexpected right-side brain bleed that required emergency life-saving surgery. He had to be airlifted to UIC Hospital in Chicago, where he’s currently fighting for his life.

Our dad has always been our rock a loving husband to our mom Kim, a proud father to his kids, and an amazing grandfather to his grandkids. He’s a hardworking man who just recently retired from Pipefitters Local 597 after decades of dedication and sacrifice. He’s the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back for someone else without thinking twice.

Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

We’re starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on our family as we face medical expenses, travel costs, and the unknown road of recovery that lies ahead. The funds raised will go toward our dad’s care, recovery, and helping our mom be by his side without having to worry about money.
