Hey everyone - my name is Rebekah Hoffman, and this fundraiser is on behalf of my dad, Stephen Hoffman and my mom, Nancy Hoffman.

As some of you may know, my dad started experiencing some discomfort in November. Having previously thought the issue was his gallbladder, on the weekend of January 23, doctors found a very aggressive cancer in his pancreas, liver, stomach and lungs. He ultimately was not a candidate for surgery or chemotherapy. He passed away on Saturday, February 21, with his wife and two daughters by his side.

Most of you know that my dad was, without a doubt, one of the best humans. He always had a smile and a dad joke to share, and he's dedicated his life to service, including leading the worship team at his church for decades and providing photos to people around town. He did so much of this free of charge. Now, we are putting this out there in the hope that it will help alleviate some of the financial burden that a funeral and the hospital stay will have on my mom. We are also planning two memorials: some of the money will go toward a memorial at Allerton Park where he worked, and some of it will go toward TCF's music department. Both my dad loved so much.
