Support Steve and Kids in Honoring Shelly

I am setting up a GoFundMe account for my friend Steve Ackerman. His wife, Shelly Ackerman, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 50, two days after her 50th birthday. This was a sudden passing. She left behind a husband and 4 children. The family recently moved to Alabama where her husband recently got a full-time job. However, they were struggling financially. Shelly’s parents are also deceased, and there is no money for her ashes or a service. The local church they were attending has been doing their best to help, but it is just not enough.

Shelly needs to rest in peace. The family needs to know she is resting in peace. They deserve at least to have her ashes and a celebration of life so they can all move forward. This is such a difficult time of year for everyone, but imagine being a 15-year-old boy and losing your mother right before Christmas. Any donations, even in the smallest amount, can help raise enough money for this family to get their loved one.
