Support Steve and Amber Knapp's Family in Crisis

My name is Amber Knapp. I am a stay-at-home mom, and I am currently pregnant with my and my husband’s child. We have two daughters.

My husband hurt his knee outside of work and has already been out of work for a month and is going to be out of work for another five weeks at the least. His job said he could go back to work once he is 100% cleared by the doctor. We have used up all of our resources and have been denied by the state for help. We really don’t know what else to do, so we’re giving this a shot. We just don’t want to lose the house that we are renting, and we want to be able to pay utilities and get food as well as going to food banks.

My husband has worked his butt off, and just a stream of bad luck has hit our family, and now we are in a hole all because of a freak accident. If anybody could help, it would be truly appreciated. He really can’t do a lot because of his knee, and he has to have it fully healed from the surgery he had. We really hate asking for help, but we have no other option at this point.

My husband is a good man and is currently 4 1/2 years sober. He has battled and battled and battled, and the world just seems to beat him down, but he still holds his faith in Jesus Christ and sees the good in everything and is trying to do everything he can within his means. Anything to help our family will be greatly appreciated. God bless you all.
