Many of you know Steve Alleva and his daughter, Maddie. Steve has been a helping hand around the airport for years and he is a friend to all he meets. If you have crossed his path, you likely know Steve’s heart just as much as his work ethic. As a devoted single father, he works tirelessly to provide for Maddie. Many of us have personally experienced his generosity. Whether through free repairs, helping with moves, fixing rugs or furniture, or simply showing up when someone needed a helping hand. That’s just who he is.

This past Saturday, February 21, 2026, Steve Alleva experienced a heart attack. He was quickly admitted to Doctors Hospital, where he was stabilized. He has since undergone surgery to have two stents placed and has had an echocardiogram to determine the extent of any heart damage. He is hopeful to return home soon but will be unable to work for several weeks as he heals and recovers.

During his recovery period, we would love to help ease some of the financial pressure so he can focus fully on healing. If you feel led to contribute in any way, it would be deeply appreciated. Every bit of support makes a difference, and I know Steve and Maddie will be incredibly grateful.
