Support Steve A. Martin's Recovery Journey

I'm writing on behalf of my man, Steve A. Martin. At 5 AM on 9/30/24, our house was broken into. I opened my eyes to see a random man over me with the back lid of my toilet about to hit my daughter and me. While I was screaming and kicking the intruder, Steve jumped up and tackled this person who invaded our home. Before Steve tackled him, he smashed the toilet lid on Steve's head, causing a skull fracture. We are unsure of the exact recovery time, but Steve will not be able to work anytime soon. We are asking for help, and this is very hard for us to do since we like to work. Anything helps, and Steve saved my life. So really, it's me asking for help, and I am so grateful for him. We are both taking time to heal and recover.
