UPDATE: Sterling is being dropped off a day early for his training today 10/8 and he says thank you to everyone that donated and we hope that when his training is complete he will be able to say hi to some of you in person without barking! THANK YOU!! ❤️
Meet Sterling, On May 16th I found this precious little dog in my neighborhood and he has since become apart of the family.
Sterling has had a history of wandering around the neighborhood and I found him with a rope around his neck. His life has been spent outside tied up rain or shine. Of course he had no collar or microchip and his owners never came forward to claim him. He has since got all his vaccines, microchip and gotten neutered with help from metro animal services in Nashville!
Sterling is a smart and very stubborn little border terrier, he loves his older sister Tass and is great with sofa snuggles! However Sterling has some quirks that we are trying to correct. Sterling is the loudest dog in the neighborhood and loves to bark at everything that moves. During the time he has spent with us he has not quite mastered to let this behavior go with my guidance so we are now looking at some professional training so we can have guest come to the house safely and so that his mom(me) can travel for work without hanging to worry.
Sterling will be attending a 4 week training program with Lauren at Mighty dog services to get him to start enjoying all the friends in the neighborhood! This 4 week training program is set to start on 10/09 and it comes with a hefty price tag (he is worth every penny!) because of this we would so appreciate any donations to help pay the bill! Every dollar counts!
Let’s make Sterling break out of his tough guy shell and be able to take long walks without scaring everyone away! ❤️
