After 25 years of physically demanding work as a chef and three years growing her successful small business, Mister Handy Ma’am, Steph will be taking a much-needed medical leave in November for a long-awaited breast reduction surgery. This procedure is essential for her health and well-being, but it also means stepping away from work—and income—for several weeks.

This time away will have a significant financial impact, both from lost income and out-of-pocket medical costs.
