Stephen has always been the kind of person who steps up to help others, and now he’s facing one of the toughest challenges of his life. After being in excruciating pain for a while, he finally went to the hospital, where we learned he has a fractured back and possible cancer. The news has been devastating for our family, and it’s hard to see someone so strong and supportive go through so much pain and uncertainty.

The funds raised here will go directly toward Stephen’s medical bills, treatments, and supporting him while he recovers from surgery and receives a full diagnosis. He will be unable to work or pay his bills for several weeks at least, and the financial strain is overwhelming. As someone who has been supported by Stephen during my own health struggles with MS, I know firsthand how much he gives to others. Now, I’m doing everything I can to help him in return.

We are not used to asking for help, but right now, it’s needed more than ever. Any support—no matter how small—will be deeply appreciated. We are grateful for any kindness and generosity as we try to get Stephen the care he needs and help him through this incredibly difficult time.
