I’m reaching out because my brother, Stephen, and his wife, Paula will soon be facing a challenging time. Stephen will soon undergo an extensive spinal surgery—C2–T4 posterior cervical fusion and laminectomy—to address serious issues that have been affecting his health and quality of life. This procedure is necessary, but it comes with a long recovery period.

Unfortunately, they recently learned that his work will not cover the expenses in full as initially promised, and that he will be out of work for approximately 12 weeks with very limited income. During this time, they will need assistance managing everyday bills like housing, utilities, and groceries, along with medical-related costs.
