Hi everyone,
My name is Stephen Kennedy, and I'm reaching out today with a story of resilience, recovery, and hope. For the past five years, I have been on an intensive journey of recovery, working incredibly hard to reclaim my life from substance abuse. It has been a challenging road, but I'm proud to say that I've achieved significant milestones, including The teen challenge program,Thinking for a Change, Good Intentions Bad Choices,Thinking Errors, After Care. 2 years impatient. 2 years outpatient. My life has completely transformed, and I am committed to a stable, sober future.
I've been staying in a transitional living situation while saving money, and I've finally found a safe and affordable apartment that will provide the permanent stability I need to thrive. This is a crucial next step in my journey. The only hurdle standing in my way is the initial cost of the first month's rent and security deposit. This is a common barrier for many in recovery, and I've exhausted my current savings on application fees and basic necessities. Also Child Support and fines.
This campaign is specifically for raising funds to cover my first month's rent and deposit. Here is a breakdown of how your generous contributions will be used:
Security Deposit: $1500
First Month's Rent: $800
Total Goal: $5000 also extra goes towards furnishing. Dishes ect.
Every dollar brings me closer to having a place I can proudly call home, a safe haven where I can continue my growth and give back to the community that has supported me. A stable home will allow me to focus on my new job and maintain the positive trajectory I've worked so hard to build.
“Your belief in my resilience and determination will be the driving force in overcoming these obstacles.”
I understand that times are tough for everyone, and I sincerely appreciate any help you can offer. If you're unable to donate financially, sharing my story with your network would be just as valuable.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story, for your support, and for believing in second chances.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Stephen Kennedy
