My name is Stephen, and I’m reaching out for support during one of the most challenging times of my life. Recently, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Before my insurance coverage began this January, I had to be hospitalized for three days at Maury County Hospital in Columbia, TN. On December 7th, I underwent surgery to remove part of the tumor for a biopsy, and the results confirmed T-2 bladder cancer. Now, I am preparing to return to the hospital next month for a major surgery to have my bladder removed.

The financial impact of this diagnosis has been overwhelming. The medical bills have already started arriving, and they are substantial. On top of that, I will be unable to work while I recover from surgery, which adds to the stress and uncertainty I’m facing.
