Hello Friends,

Our beloved Stephen Bartholomew Clarke was recently diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Many of you know him as a talented OG in the Bay Area punk scene, others know him as a generous and dedicated teacher in the Oakland public schools, some probably remember coming of age together in Long Island, and all of us have him in our hearts as a sweet and loving, smart, funny and thoughtful friend. His prognosis is tough, but he has started radiation and chemo treatment, and Romaya is caring for him at home. His basic health care costs are covered, but, no surprise, there are associated expenses for in-home care that are not. We are hoping to raise $7,500 to help support Stephen and Romaya as they get through the next few months to keep him strong, cared-for, and comfortable. Now is the time for their community to rally and wrap Steve and Romaya in love and care. Please give what you can.
