Hi, my name is Megan Morris. I am Stephen Utleys fiance. On August 1st 2025 Stephen was on his way home from work and was in a really bad car accident. He doesn't remember what happened - and we're grateful for that.

He rolled the truck and was ejected from the vehicle. Hes lucky to still be with us.

As of August 2nd 2025 he has had:

Multiple CT, CAT and MRIs

1 surgery to a broken left ankle and there will likely be atleast 1 more.

He has 3 fractures to his spine in the C4, T4 and T8 vertebrae

Lacerations to his left thigh that have required stitches.

As of noon hes now been cleared to have fluids orally. With a 30° incline on the bed.

Stevie is the bread winner for our family - with a medical needs child and a baby on the way.

I want to say Im not worried, but if I did Id be lying.

We aren't sure what his road to recovery will look like - but if you know him personally you know nothing holds him down and if it tries he always wins.

We've always been the kind of people to figure it out and somehow always have. But this time we're asking for help. I dont want him to have to worry about us being taken care of while he needs to be resting and healing.
