Support Stephen Stegall's Surgery and Recovery

UPDATE:

After Stephen being told by 2 doctors that they wouldn’t operate on his foot / one doctor gave him hope and performed the surgery last week. Stephen’s surgery was successful and he is currently at rehabilitation in Pineville, NC. He hopes to come home this week so please keep him in your prayers. He will be out of work for approximately 8 more weeks at least so there is still a financial need. If you feel like contributing to this family, please do so. Thanks!

I would like to introduce you to a very special family that is very dear to my heart: Stephen, Courtney, & Avery Stegall. You may recognize Stephen from Southern Tire. He managed our store before we sold it and also worked for my dad’s trucking business for 5 years before he came to Southern Tire.

Stephen broke his foot almost a year ago and has been given very little hope for repairing it. His first surgeon postponed doing the surgery for various reasons. Because of the length of time and lack of blood flow to the bone, he was told it would need to be amputated. After much prayer, a surgeon in Charlotte has given him hope that he can save his foot! It’s a risky surgery with him being diabetic, but he has hope! Stephen’s surgery is scheduled for April 28th. He is out of work and unable to put any weight on it, and his recovery will be several months.

Stephen & Courtney would never ask for help, but there’s a financial need for them while he’s out of work. He and his wife attend Williamson’s Crossroads Baptist Church where he is a deacon. Avery is 11 years old and in 5th grade. If you feel in your heart to help my special friends, please do so. More importantly, keep Stephen in your prayers!
