UPDATE (9/2): Stephens been out of the hospital and home since 8/20. We have had multiple follow up appointments since. He has to go to OT and PT (two separate appointments) every week. His knee is doing great since surgery and he is able to bend it 30 degrees now. He still is wheelchair bound until his foot heals. We are hoping to get him atleast on crutches soon. He still is unable to eat solids and on an all liquid diet for another 3 weeks. He has been so brave and courageous through all of this. To everyone who has shared, checked in, donated we appreciate it so much.

UPDATE (8/16): Stephens right foot is also sprained. The doctors say he could potentially be in a wheelchair for up to 3 months. He will be having jaw surgery on Monday and hopefully we can take him home by Wednesday (8/20) or Thursday (8/21).

Hi, my name is Annie.
My fiancé, Stephen Kasmer, was involved in a motorcycle accident on 8/14/2025. The whole left side of his body is pretty much broken. He has a dislocated shoulder, fractures in his arm, elbow, and foot, a broken jaw, and a shattered kneecap. He had surgery today, 8/15/2025, to repair his kneecap. He will also need additional surgeries; we are just waiting for the doctors to schedule them. It will be a long road to recovery.
Stephen is the sole provider for our family as I am a stay-at-home mom for our 2 boys Jack who is 7 months old and Hunter who is 11 years old. We don’t know what to expect with all the bills we are about to endure.
If you could so kindly share or donate even if it’s $1, we appreciate any help right now as this was all very unexpected.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
