Stephen has been one of my closest friends since my first day in college, and his mom, Patti, was always so kind and welcoming. Stephen and Patti were a true duo, and their bond was very special. You couldn’t know Stephen without knowing, or at least hearing about, his mom. Every single decision Stephen made, whether it was where to go to college, where to attend medical school, or even where to consider for residency, was made with Patti in mind. He was the best son she could have possibly asked for, and she loved him with all her heart.

Tragically and unexpectedly, Patti passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Stephen was Patti's only close family, so the responsibility of managing her estate falls solely to him. He is currently in medical school, facing the immense challenge of grieving this loss while also managing the financial burden of cremation and memorial costs. Stephen has always been there for those around him, and now he needs our support more than ever.
