Support Stephen After His Mom's Passing

Hi, my name is Pammy. I am setting this GoFundMe up for a dear co-worker of mine who has completely lost his world—his mom, Myleen. I have worked with Stephen for a few years now, and he is the happiest, most helpful, and supportive person I have ever met. He would do absolutely anything for anyone, whether you asked him or not; he is there. Stephen has been taking care of his mom for some time now as she had cancer. Myleen had gotten better, and things were great! She got sick again recently, and he did not tell us about it this time around because he didn’t want to make his problems our (work family) problems. She passed away late Saturday night, Feb 1st, in his arms at home. He still wanted to go into work that next day because, as he said, “the pets make me happy and would help me through.” He took a taxi to work because he does not have his license, which he is looking into getting. His mom felt close and honored to be able to bring him to work every day. Stephen works two full-time jobs, with no days off to help support her in any way that he could. He also has no family in this state or anywhere even remotely close to help.

Stephen has been left with not many essentials at home and barely any food as his mom was not feeling up to driving or going to the store. He just wanted to be there for her.

The stress of trying to figure out everything in itself is hard enough, let alone now trying to figure out funeral arrangements all on his own.

We all (I think I can speak for my entire staff at work) love Stephen and want to help him in any way possible. It would mean the world to him, no matter if you donated, prayed, or were just there for him to talk to. I can’t think of a more deserving human being to help in a time like this.

Also, if anyone wants to donate non-perishables, grocery items, gift cards, or Uber Eats/Uber, I can meet up as well! Anything helps tremendously.
