As many of you know, Stephany was in a serious motorcycle accident this April. The initial GoFundMe you all supported helped tremendously, it covered personal & medical bills during the three weeks she couldn’t work, and she’s forever grateful for that. However, we closed the GoFundMe early not thinking she would end up having to have more than one surgery and out of work again.

Her insurance is also claiming her femur break was not an emergency, therefore, trying not to cover it and put it towards her deductible. With the new surgery approaching (because she technically hasn’t met the deductible due to them offsetting this cost onto her-she is going to try to fight it)she will now have to pay out-of-pocket upfront a portion of this surgery cost.

While shes since returned to work, it’s only been part-time as shes still recovering from a broken femur. Unfortunately, she now needs an additional surgery on her hand to insert a pin and undergo bone grafting. She will be in a hard cast for at least two weeks and unable to work during that time.

As a hairstylist and small business owner, no work means no income. This new fundraiser will help cover:

– Out-of-pocket medical costs not covered by insurance

– Expenses from surgery and follow-up care

– Salon rent while out again

– Basic living expenses during this recovery period

I know how hard things are financially for many people right now, so any support whether through a donation or simply sharing this campaign means the world to her. Thank you for helping her stay afloat as she continues healing and working toward getting fully back on her feet.
