Support Stephanie's Urgent Roof Repairs

Hi. My name is Stephanie. This is really hard for me to do, ask for help, but I honestly don’t know what else to do. Back in January, we had a leak in our roof, and it caused the ceiling above my bed to cave in, leaving a massive hole (which has been covered with plywood). We got a tarp put over the section of the roof over my room. And just a few weeks ago, a few places on my windowsill have started leaking when it rains.

So the bottom line is we need a new roof. And we need to soon, as I’m worried if we get any snow and ice it could do in the roof. I’m trying to raise money to put a down payment down while we try to figure out funding. We’ve tried different state programs but have not had any luck. And because the roof is old, the damage doesn’t fall under the homeowner's insurance.

Again, it’s really hard to ask for help, but I figure it’s worth a try. If you can help at all, it would be much appreciated, and if you can’t, if you could share this, I would be so grateful. Thank you so much!!
