hi my names Stephanie I was recently a victim of a hit-and-run as a pedestrian. I was given the right of way, but once i was almost done crossing, the driver sped up. I do believe this was intentional, as they ran me over twice and fled the scene. There is footage of the crash and what side of the gas station they turned to, but unfortunately, there is no clear view of the plates from the gas station.

i now have both sides of my pelvis fractured and part of my lower back broken due to this. I was hospitalized for 4 days. Thankfully, no surgery was necessary, but it will take 3 months for a full recovery. Right now, I am in a walker and wheelchair now. Due to the hospital not taking my insurance, I am overwhelmed and unsure what to do. I feel very helpless knowing that i don’t have much and that the person might’ve gotten away. It is still under investigation, but i don’t ask for much; a prayer is more than enough. My family will be helping me with this go fund me while I am recovering we thank you so very much
