After months of unexplained pain, weakness, and rashes that spread across her body, Stephanie was diagnosed with Mycosis Fungoides with Secondary Sézary Syndrome—a rare and aggressive form of subcutaneous T-cell lymphoma, a subtype of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

This illness attacks her skin and blood. Something as simple as air can feel like knives against her body. Tasks she once loved—cooking, gardening, working with her hands to perform acupuncture —are now painful and sometimes impossible. While there is no cure, there are treatments, ranging from phototherapy to systemic chemotherapy, radiation, and costly medications.

As a single mother of two boys, Campbell and Eliot, Stephanie has always been practical and self-sufficient. She built her business from the ground up, supported her family, and gave endlessly to her patients and community. She made sure her boys received health insurance but rather than paying for health coverage that was prohibitively costly and extremely expensive for herself, she chose to rely on nutrition, movement, faith, and the ancient medicine she practiced and believed in. For many years, that was enough.
