One of Stephanie's greatest qualities has always been her resilience in the face of adversity. Throughout her life, Stephanie has continually risen to the occasion and done what was best for her and her two kids, Andrew and Marissa. Unfortunately, that resilience has been put to the test yet again, with a recent Multiple Myeloma/Plasma Cell Leukemia diagnosis just a few weeks ago.

Multiple Myeloma/Plasma Cell Leukemia is an extremely rare and aggressive form of plasma cell cancer which manipulates the healthy white blood cells and impedes the body's ability to fight infection. Due to the nature of this cancer, it is incurable and will require lifetime treatment/maintenance. A cancer diagnosis is always a life-changing event, but with no known cure, it is a guarantee for a permanent life change. This affects not only Stephanie, but her children and family members that love and care for her.

The treatment for this cancer is equally aggressive and requires nearly round-the-clock care in Stephanie's case. While friends and family have moved mountains in the last few weeks to ensure she is comfortable and safe, there is a need for further help and assistance.
