Help Stephanie Create a Cozy Classroom and Mini Library

Hello! I’m Stephanie and I’m going into my 10th year of teaching! I’m starting a new position this year (I’ll be teaching 9th grade ELA) and I have a brand new classroom. It’s kind of a long story, but since I was in a part time intervention position last year, I left a lot of my books and supplies at my prior school. I have some things already, but I know that it will take some money to put together a cozy classroom where students feel creative!

I am a little bit over Amazon, and I feel I can buy a lot of what I need secondhand. Mainly, I am asking for these funds for two purposes.

2) Classroom Decorations and Supplies - I would like to add some nice lighting - string lights and lanterns, because I have no windows in my classroom. I also think I will need to purchase some craft and art supplies for kids, because I have a few more artistic projects planned that will aid in decorating the classroom.

My rough estimate, money wise is:

4 copies of 12 books ~ $300

String Lights and Lamps ~ $100

Art/Craft Supplies ~$100
