However you know her, she is an amazing human who has instilled joy and shown love and support for so many, and we would like to help her experience the same in her life.
This amazing woman has been diagnosed with a Grade 3 Anaplastic astrocytoma , a rare form of brain cancer. In the few months since her diagnosis , she's had brain surgery, went through 6 weeks of chemo and radiation and now is continuing on with a a double dose of chemo for the rest of the year or as long as her body allows.
While no one can know when it’s their time is up on this earth, the outlook for this kinda sucks.
While she would never ask for anything “free” and she continues to work through this all the while battling cancer, we are setting up this fundraiser to help her live out her life on her terms.
Contributions to assist her with medical expenses and with her dreams of traveling the world are greatly appreciated.
Shared below is a picture of her newly acquired "vintage" travel van "Bilquis" that she hopes to fix up and travel the country in. That's what she would love to do while she still can.
