My name is Stephanie McCluskey. I am 39 single parent of 3. I'm not comfortable asking for help and I've always did my best and worked hard to take care of my family. I have had asthma since early childhood and getting a bad cough or having trouble breathing is a normal for me. I had been sick a little over a week just taking over the counter medicine still going to work. Trying to stay ahead of the bills and have a decent Thanksgiving meal for my family. On Friday Nov 14, 2025. I couldn't take not being able to breathe anymore and drove myself to the ER. I had no idea how sick I actually was. My oxygen level was 60 my blood pressure was 249/120. I have now been hospitalized for 6 days. I was diagnosed with server pneumonia. I have some cyst on my right lung and my blood pressure still hasn't been stable. I have been on oxygen since being here. My lungs are not holding and disburseing the oxygen as normal. My oxygen levels drop when I am not wear oxygen. I am scheduled for a procedure called a Bronchoscope. This should help my lung expand and disburse oxygen again. Whenever I am well enough to be discharged from the hospital I will need to be on oxygen. I am unsure how long it will be before I am able to go back to work. I am the only source of income for my 3 kids and myself. I am humbly asking for financial help to support my family through this rough spot in my life. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you and God bless. ***Update: Diagnosis with Cystic-Bullous disease of the lungs, and a Diffused parenchumal lung disease. waiting. Waiting on Test results from biopsy. The Doctor was only able to retrieve one sample due to complications during the procedure. My follow up appointment is Dec. 2, 2025 and the cost will be $205.87. I currently do not have health insurance and I am having a hard time getting enrolled since I now have pre-existing health conditions.*** Update: made it to my appointment. Biopsy was no good. Once I get insurance coverage another Biopsy will be preformed. Continuing steroid treatment along with an additional long lasting inhaler to go with the breathing treatments, and 24/7 oxygen.
