Support Doug and Mitchell's Family After Tragedy

This is Stephanie and Katelynn, the daughters and sisters of Douglas and Mitchell Oldham. It's really strange to write a GoFundMe for my own family. I've written so many for others, and this isn't something I'd ever thought I'd be doing for us.

My dad and my brother were killed in a murder-suicide last week. This is not something anyone saw coming. This is not something we can grasp or truly understand because our dad and Mitchell were best friends. They lived together, they ate together, they worked together. Together they were like one. You never saw one without the other. My dad loved his son unconditionally and wouldn't want anyone to be angry with Mitchell.

Mitchell struggled with autism and other mental setbacks and illnesses, and when he lost his insurance at 18 years old, there was truly a lack of resources we could find to help him. There is a silent epidemic here deeper than loneliness.

I'm making this GoFundMe because we've been suddenly faced with the cost of not one funeral, but two. And we need help with the cost of the cleanup and help with paying the people helping us with the service.

It's just us girls now and we were not ready for this.
